Essentials for pharmacists: Considerations for difficult conversations

This module provides advice on approaching the subject of prostate cancer with patients who have urinary symptoms indicative of prostate problems, as well as advice on managing conversations about prostate cancer.

When you have completed this module, you will:

• Have the knowledge and confidence to hold difficult conversations with at-risk men and men with symptoms, as well as their partners, to:
  • Provide advice, information and support
  • Reassure men at low risk and with short-term symptoms
