Jaimin Bhatt

Consultant Urological and Robotic Surgeon, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Glasgow

Jaimin Bhatt is a fellowship-trained Consultant Pelvic Uro-Oncological Surgeon and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and the University of Glasgow. He completed his urology training in Oxford and a two-year cancer fellowship at the University of Toronto. Specialising in prostate and bladder cancer, he is one of three robotic surgeons for the prostate cancer regional service in the West of Scotland. Jaimin leads quality improvement projects, including the Scottish National Quality Performance Indicator process, and developed the ‘Getting Better Faster’ pathway for enhanced recovery after major urological surgery. As the son of a cancer survivor, he is passionate about patient-centred care and values his team’s contributions.
