The PSA test has advantages and disadvantages for both men and their GPs. This session will provide an overview of PSA and how improvements in the diagnostic pathway have reduced the risk of harm, as well as new changes in the grading of prostate cancer. It also covers the debate surrounding a national screening programme, including recent studies and the current available guidance.
