Your questions

  • What is a module?

A module is a unit of study that covers a particular topic. A module can be taken on its own to improve your knowledge on a specific topic, or as part of a course covering a broader subject.

  • What is a course?

A course is a program of study leading to increased knowledge and proficiency in a subject or field of specialisation. A course is made up of a series of modules on a particular subject.

  • How do I find a course or module?

There are a few different ways to find a course. You can search for a subject keyword in the search bar on the online learning home page, or you can choose to view all the courses or modules listed under a particular theme. We’ve also provided quick links to some of our newest and/or most popular courses at the bottom of the page.

  • Can I complete multiple courses?

Absolutely! We’d love for you to complete as many courses or modules as you'd like.

  • Where can I see a list of which courses and modules I’ve finished and how many learning hours I’ve completed?

Firstly, make sure you’re logged in. Once you’re logged in you can then access your dashboard, which will show you all details including courses and modules you’ve started, courses and modules you’ve completed, and your total learning hours. From your dashboard you can also download your certificates of completion for both courses and individual modules.

  • How are my learning hours calculated?

Your total learning hours are calculated based on your progress through modules (even if you have not yet completed the full module). The learning hours are advised prior to the start of each course/module, and are available on your certificate once you’ve completed the course or module.

  • How will my progress be saved?

Make sure you are logged in to your account. Your progress will be saved automatically as you go through each module (even if you have not yet completed the full module or course). You can see the percentage you have completed at the bottom of the module or course page.

  • Can I print out module content?

You may print out module content to be used with other healthcare professionals or patients. Other healthcare professionals can create their own account to access the content.

  • Can I use the online learning site from any device?

Our site is designed to be compatible with most device types, including desktop and laptop computers, tablets and mobile phones.

Some devices and operating systems may work better than others. We’ve created a list of device and operating system compatibility on our terms and conditions page.
