Essentials for pharmacists: More about prostate cancer

This module is focused towards providing pharmacists with a deeper look at prostate cancer including the stages of the disease and methods of diagnosis. This module will also review the benefits and limitations of the PSA test.

When you have completed this module, you will:

• Be able to explain the PSA test and its benefits and disadvantages, as well as other diagnostic tests, such as digital rectal examination (DRE), to at-risk men
• Help men make an informed decision about PSA testing
